Our Cats

The beginning...the Siberian Cats Our fist Siberian cat arrived to our home in 1994, Overgold Balinka – Sibyll, the offspring of the Ladoga breed. Despite the fact that the Siberian cat wasn’t a recognised breed in the FIFE before 1999, we already presented our Siberian cats to several shows and promoted the breed. Overgold Balinka’s kittens were born in 1996: Archibald, Arszlan,Arion, Alárd, Amand, Alvian. ..........and Syberian again!

In 2008 Archibald and Raszputyin Auróra (from Lukács Adrienn’s breed) continued the breed line. Archibald is the offspring of the first Russian cat breed “Ladoga” which cannot be traced anymore, even in Russia.

At spring 2008 two gentle siblings arrived from the Krolowa 'Sniegu*PL breed: Aisza and Ataman. Their breeders: Krystyna and Wlodzimierz Stefaniak.

The continuation... Norwegian Forest Cats In 1997 we brought the first Norwegian Forest couple from Germany:Hannah Fee and Adrian. They both proved to have a glowing show career: Hannah Fee was the first cat in Hungary winning the following titles: Supreme Grand Champion and 2 times Regional Winner 1998/1999., EN Best Norwegian Forest Cat 1998/1999. and Best Hungary Cat of the Year 1999. Their breeders: Danny Raab, Sybille and Gerd Bauer. Hannah Fee and Adrian’s kittens were born in 1999: Androméda, Arvid, Axel, Ares, Astarte, Ananke.

After long research our dream had come true when in 1999 we received the white coated and odd-eyed Polarstjernen from Wenche Oymoen in Norway. This coat and eye combination is really rare.

In February 2005, we travelled to Norway again and returned with two lovely kittens, Leni and Velvet. Their breeders: Wenche, Nina and Dag Ellefsrud.  Velvet became the Best Black Norwegian Forest Cat in Year 2005/2006. and the Second Best Black Norwegian Forest Cat of the TICA in Year 2006/2007.

At the end of October 2005, our dear friends from Germany, Sybille and Gerd trusted Vanderbilt (alias ‘Dömper’) to us, who we have been waiting for since his birth. In year 2005/2006, Vanderbilt became theTICA’s Best Black Silver Mackerel Tabby Norwegian Forest of the Year and also won the EN (Northern Europe Region) Best Norwegian Forest of the Year in both Kitten and Adult categories. Again in 2006/2007 he won the title for the TICA’s Best Black Silver Mackerel Tabby Norwegian Forest of the Year, and also the title of the EN Best Norwegian Forest of the Year in the Adult category.

In 2006 we had new kittens arriving from Denmark:  Breaca in May and Freya in July. We have been looking for ‘tri-colour’ cats for a long time and we have finally found two atthe same time. Their breeders: Helle and Jörgen Hansen. Freya in 2006/2007 won the TICA’s Best Tortie Classic Tabby with White Norwegian Forest Cat of the Year and also the title of the EN Best Norwegian Forest Kitten of the Year.

In 2007 Edit Löw Kristensen from Denmark trusted Missy to me who is a very gentle cat and she is really happy with us.

In 2007 Tyr, Nodlys, Niels and Niorn were born and stayed with us, and in 2008 Orm, Oberon and Orion;  Ríg, Rerir, Ravn and Rasmus  were born and give us happy moments at home and at the cat shows.
